    Importing / Exporting Presets

    in Preset Sharing

    Hi Everyone!

I wanted to demonstrate the best way to import presets into a Sound Sculpture instrument within MNDALA. Attached is a video of me walking through importing Paul Darbot's preset, Angry Monkey, into Orakle - which was a mistake as it should go into Ultrasonic Death whistle, but you get the idea 😂 Super cool preset Paul!

Also, I wanted to go over the dropdown that appears when you click "More" in the presets panel.

    1. Show preset folder simply shows you the directory of your presets. Super useful and it is the method that I use in the video.

    2. "Import All presets from Clipboard" and "Export all presets from Clipboard" do not work.

    3. "Import all presets from Collection" works with hpa files (which can be created by using "Export all presets as Collection"), however I wanted to warn users that when using this, the second prompt that appears after selecting your hpa file will ask if you want to replace all existing presets. "OK" will delete all of the current presets within your sound sculpture whilst "Cancel" will add to your current presets collection. It does say this on the prompt, however I know how easy it is to quickly click through prompts.

Due to the risk of the third import option as well as a general tip, I highly suggest everyone makes a backup of their presets folder in order to avoid loosing their custom presets. If you ever loose your Sound Sculpture instrument's factory presets, you can always reimport them by reloading the Sound Sculpture instrument from the CH1 file that came with your instruments download.

    Happy preset making!

Thank you! Just what I was looking for. Though a pdf users manual would be very nice.
